“John is gifted with a director's vision enhanced by the fact that he's also a talented actor himself. That fact was immediately evident when I was cast in a feature he directed. John's direction on set during an emotionally-charged scene revealed a pathway for his vision without impeding me and my instincts as the actor. The subtlety with which he approaches the actor is both artful and effective. His acting and directing skills combine with his keen sense for casting makes him a triple threat. His unguarded passion for writing and filmmaking is infectious. It was my pleasure to work with John.”

-Justin Brown, Actor, “You Can’t Kill Stephen King” and “Early Grave”
"The word ‘professional’ means so many thing to so many people. So I’ll make a statement about John E Seymore because of what I observed. Being ‘professional’ is only one word in a management theory I call “The Three ‘P’s: Professional, Prepared, and Pleasant” … John is the best of all three.
I met John as one of the Producers on the film BLESSID. From the initial moment, I was impressed.
First, because he truly cared for me and other actors, his ‘talent’… he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable in a place far from our homes. From making breakfast, to hauling us about town, to dining out, and just a simple conversation. But that was easy for him… he’s very personable, a nice guy… “Pleasant” come easy to him.
But what made a larger impression, and it could be because I retired eleven years ago as a Director of Sales and Marketing for a major Ohio corporation…to pursue a dream, John is “Prepared”
BLESSID hit some major snags in production one day from a situation one could never had planned on. A decision was made to stop production to figure out what could be done to overcome the obstacle. Within an hour or so… a plan was put into place which not only corrected the problem, but also made sure they would not happen again… AND actually made it possible to shoot over 11 pages that day… while still being “Pleasant” about the circumstances.
As for “Professional”, he was always on top of his responsibilities. When I had a problem with my payment, he corrected it with the payroll company. When there might be a snag, he found a solution. He solved problems without losing stride. He was a ‘boss’ when necessary, and a ‘friend’ the rest of the time.
If I was still in my past ‘life’s’ career. I could not do better than to hire John.
You can do no better than to add John to your team."
-Rick Montgomery, Jr., Actor, “Blessid”
"It was a pleasure working with John, He was attentive to my needs, and keeping the spirit of the set, and house friendly and comfortable. Made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be there, and worked nonstop to keep the film going smoothly. It was a great experience, and John was a valuable part of the team."
-Gene Silvers, Actor, “Blessid”
"Working with John is to really understand having fun on set. There's the work aspect, but getting to have fun, really enjoying your craft, and John brings out every reason why we're in this business. It's because we do what we love, and John pulls that out in every minute on set."
-Robbie Carlysle, Actor, "The Weed Detective"

I felt comfortable and was excited that I had the opportunity to audition for Seymore Films. Fortunately, I was cast. On set, Mr. Seymore exceeded my expectations of professionalism. It was everything an actor could as for. Mr. Seymore checked in with the actors at various times to make sure everything was going as expected. It was an honor to be part of the Seymore Films production. I recommend Seymore Films to any talent, director, and screenwriter. Words to the wise if you see any audition notice with John E. Seymore attached to it trust me you want to be a part of it!”
Kevin O. Peterson, Actor, “Dark Minds”, “Tangled 8” and “Blessid”
-Tony Ramos Wright, Actor, “Tangled 8" and "The Devil's Work"

-Cynthia O’Neil, Actress, “Tangled 8”
"John has a knack for making work not seem like work. His perfect blend of professionalism and casualness, creates cohesiveness and synergy in any environment."

Made sure we were where we needed to be, when we needed to be there, and worked nonstop to keep the film going smoothly. It was a great experience, and John was a valuable part of the team."
-Gene Silvers, Actor, “Blessid”
"Working with John is to really understand having fun on set. There's the work aspect, but getting to have fun, really enjoying your craft, and John brings out every reason why we're in this business. It's because we do what we love, and John pulls that out in every minute on set."
-Robbie Carlysle, Actor, "The Weed Detective"

“Recently, Seymore Films held a casting in Massachusetts. Mr. Seymore was the casting director. I was immediately impressed with the respect other actors held for him. Personally, I hope to continue to work with Seymore films again due to the professionalism and quality of work produced by this production company.”
-Kadian Clarke, Actor, “Blessid”
"John E. Seymore possesses an immense drive and applies it, full bore, to the projects he tackles. Always respectful, John's infectious work ethic creates a positive influence on those around him by osmosis. Whether it be writing, acting, or producing, there are few hands you could trust more than John's weathered grip."
